All pieces in this collection are inspired with Pride in mind! 

Free Mom Hugs Hampton Roads is a local non-profit who offers support, love & resources to the LGBTQIA+ people, & their loved ones, in our community. 

Recently, FMH Hampton Roads reached out to our community to ask for help in raising money to be able to attend the various Pride events in the Hampton Roads Area. These events are costly and non-profits are unfortunately not offered a discounted rate. While I, and other small businesses can typically afford the vendor fees for spaces, because we can justify them knowing we will make money back to pay for our spots, FMH doesn't have the ability. They aren't selling an item to recoup funds. Add to it, with the state of the country, and government funding being slashed, a lot of non-profits are hurting and FMH is one of them. 

I am fortunate enough to be able to give back to community, and I am selective on where my money goes when I do. Free Mom Hugs is important to me. All kids, actual kids, tweens, teens, and even adult children, deserve to know someone is proud of them, they deserve to know they're loved & the world is better WITH them in it. Unfortunately, sometimes people come out to the friends & family & they're not supported. Everyone deserves to be their true, authentic self, and FMH is there as a reminder that someone is not alone. The perfect place for this non-profit to be is at our local Pride events, and ESPECIALLY this year when our LGBTQIA+ community, especially our trans friends, are in a scary and vulnerable place in this world.

A portion of the money made from the sale of the items in this collection will be donated directly to Free Mom Hugs Hampton Roads. As I make donations, I will update here with how much has been sent over. If anyone would like proof, please e-mail me at sylenesgems@gmail.com & I will happily send screenshots. I am a Libra...I keep receipts! 

For the next few months there may be additional items that I drop into this album. Anything in this album specifically will be sold to help offset these costs for FMH.
