- Some of my favorite people are Leos. My Grandpa & my late, beautiful friend Amanda. 💛
- Leos are fierce, passionate & some of the most genuine & generous people you’ll ever meet. They bite sometimes but not without being provoked.
- Thought they’re a fire sign, they’re more of a bold, not harsh fire sign. I chose deeper “fire” colors to capture that part of their personality.
- You’ll find a piece of red jasper at the top of the bookcase. This is a stone of endurance and helps absorb negative energy. Even in their darkest, worst times, you’ll see a Leo find a positive. To me, this was so symbolic of Amanda’s end of her journey. She was quite literally dying but always found a way to let me know she was also ok.
- A monstera plant is there to reflect their fun and dramatic personalities. A giant monstera drooping over for all of us to admire. My favorite Leos are modest but sometimes they’ll remind you they’re also the best and you shouldn’t forget it.
- There is also a little peridot gemstone, the Leo August birthstone. August Leos are my favorite.
- Last but not least, we have the sunflowers. Sunflowers love sunshine, and so do Leos. They love positivity and thrive in it. Sunflowers also always remind me of Amanda. If I ever created anything with sunflowers she snagged a pair. The petals also remind me of a lion’s mane.
